A passenger who fell from the 10th deck of a cruise ship into the sea off the Dominican Republic has been rescued with help from smoke flares.
The woman fell from the Royal Caribbean Mariner of the Seas ship one afternoon in June. This was around 27 nautical miles south of Punta Cana.
Crew members quickly launched life rafts and smoke signals and the woman was located and rescued.
She was taken to hospital for medical checks.
